Permanent Magnetic Generator Vs. Solar Power
I know it sounds like a bad superhero comic title, but this is the question that most people ask when they are considering building a free energy home generator. DIY solar energy setups are the most common alternative energy setup, and most people understand them a lot better than permanent magnetic generators. Really though, the more important question is which one is more effective? Let’s check out some of the benefits of each.
Solar power is a known quantity for most people, which makes them feel more comfortable about it. Almost everyone has, at some point, owned something solar powered. Even if they haven’t, they definitely know someone who has. At the moment, solar is winning the popularity contest, but what real benefits does it offer? Off the top of my head:
- Lightweight and compact
- Can store energy in batteries
- Excellent output in direct sunlight
Those are all pretty good, but what are the downsides of using a solar energy system?
- Fragile
- Once the batteries run out, you better hope it’s sunny
- Unless you live near the equator, winter puts a damper on things
So as you can see, solar energy is limited by the weather, storage capacity, and the fragility of the system. What make a free energy home generator better? Well…
- Not dependent on weather conditions
- Practically unlimited thoroughput
- Tough and resilient construction, even if you do it yourself
- Cheap to maintain
Of course, no system is perfect. Even a permanent magnetic generator has its flaws, though in my opinion, they are outweighed by the positives (Which you probably guessed by that fact that this blog isn’t titled “home solar panels”). So where are the cracks in the magnetic generator system?
- Bulky
- Can’t store electronics in the same room
- Can and will ruin your watch if you wear it while working on the generator
Nothing too heavy there. As you can see, the benefits of using a free energy home generator make them the obvious choice, unless perhaps you live in an area that’s sunny all year round. And even then, permanent magnetic generators make a great backup to a solar setup! Until next time.
